Not anything new here - the leaderboards are based upon the same world listings technique as before. & as before, we'll continue to have updated results each week:
Rank - Existing position in standings based upon world's rating
Rating - World rating decided by our implementation of the Glicko-2 algorithm
Deviation - Degree of certainty for the current rating. Higher quantity means more confidence in the rating.
Volatility - Degree of expected fluctuation in rating. Lower numbers indicate stable ratings, while higher indicate erratic behavior.

I was hoping to be in a position to find myself in sPvP standings, yeah. Dream on.
They show Character name, but not profession. Like, entirely worthless stuff. Nevertheless it is presented with such a pride: "Look, we made this!".
How can arbitrary gw2 gold player names help me realize "my part in this game" better exactly ?

Anet will start to lose loyal players with "tricks" like this.
I need duels. I really want them. I can't see how it's so challenging to implement.
Consider the achievement leaderboards. Look at the servers the top 100 are on. Most them are in WvW tier one by means of to three and Jade Quarry appears to have the most. It is sad that so much of the Guild wars 2 gold game's active population is huddling on the same servers. I guess that is what occurs when you make the most casual PvP arena 1 that is dominated by numbers & coverage. People flock to where they think they will have the greatest chances of winning.

Anvil Rock isn't a surprise for the sPvP leaderboards.
